As we head towards summer, you’ve probably noticed that all your favourite herbaceous plants are starting to shoot up towards the sky, and flower buds are possibly starting to develop. As nice as this may seem, all this nice fresh greenery doesn’t just attract the eyes of the keen gardener and on-looker. The slugs are coming! Before they can get to your favourite Dhalias, Hostas and Lupins, spread out some slug pellets around the plants to make sure they aren’t eaten before they have a change so show off their beauty.
